Contract Cleaning
This is our main area of focus. We carry over 25 commercial janitorial contracts. These contracts vary from large sites such as Fortis’, BC Hydro sites and Banks, to smaller sites such as Lawyers and Real Estate Offices. We work with the customers to decide how often the cleaning is needed, and what all will be involved. Job sites have the option to supply their own janitorial equipment and supplies, or we are happy to add that service into the price.
Detail Cleaning
This service is for those who don’t have a need for routine professional cleaning. We are available to come to your site, as required, to perform a detail clean. This would involve; high dusting, indoor window cleaning, thorough kitchen cleaning (including appliances), cleaning of walls, detail washroom cleaning, wiping down of hard to reach places, vacuuming chairs and cleaning chair bottoms/legs. We are happy to come to the site and give you a quote, as prices are all site specific.
We also have relationships with other companies who can assist with carpet cleaning,outdoor window cleaning, and pressure washing.
Floor care
WKSES offers floor care for Vinyl, marmoleum and linoleum floors. From a deep scrub to a strip and wax, or a burnish to bring it back to life. This service is offered on any size of floor. This floor care is recommended once a year for regular wear and tear, or twice a year for heavy usage, to ensure your floor always looks its best.
Shredding
Nelson and area now has local access to a commercial shredder. Inland to Island Social Enterprise Society(I to I), which hires people with barriers
to employment to provide janitorial services, started this new service in December 2010. With money from the Columbia Basis Trust I to I has purchased a Commercial Cross Cut Shredder. It can handle large amounts of paper at a time, and also shreds credit cards/bank cards, CD/DVD’s, staples and small paper clips.
Not only would you be receiving a much needed valuable service which ensures privacy, you will be supporting your community by allowing us to employ people who may not otherwise hold gainful employment. We have trained some new staff specifically for shredding who are unable to carry out other jobs which involve reading, writing and physical labor.
Shredding Prices – Drop off by appointment
$20.00 per bankers box (or equivalent to) when you drop them off at our office
A $50 admin fee will be charged per load if we are picking up the boxes from your location. (In the Nelson Area)
We also offer lockable 23 gallon bins for businesses. Monthly pic-up is $75.00 per bin and As needed pick-up is $125.
